Types of Diabetic Shoe Inserts
There are two types of diabetic shoe inserts. The first type is a prefabricated, heat-moldable insert that requires the user to heat up the insert so that it can be molded to their foot. The second type of diabetic shoe insert is a custom one that requires an impression of the foot to be taken, and then a lab will make multi-density plasters of inserts for the patient.
